That "New Addiction"? It Grew Into Opulux Designs

Remember when I went quiet on here for a whole month back in 2020, then popped back up with three resin pieces and a confession? If you missed it, here it is: I Found My New Addiction!. I had binged every resin geode tutorial on YouTube, collected supplies a little at a time, and finally just dove in.
Well... the addiction stuck.
That little experiment grew into its own studio, Opulux Designs, and I realized I never properly introduced it to you here. So consider this the formal introduction.
So what is Opulux Designs?
Opulux is where I make geode resin art by hand. Crystal lines, glittering bands of color, gold leaf, all poured into wall pieces that stop people mid-sentence. And it didn't stay on the wall. If you know me from this blog, you know I love a good charcuterie spread and a pretty plant... so of course serving boards and planters made it in too.
Here are a few of my favorites:

What it's taught me
Resin does not care about your plans. It drips, it runs, it cures on its own schedule, and it shows off every speck of dust you didn't catch. Every piece I've lost to it taught me something, and honestly, that's become my favorite part. Trust my process.

If you're curious, come hang out at Opulux Designs. You can see what's on the easel right now, and if you ever want to try resin yourself, I teach everything I learned the hard way. Following along is free.
Same me. Just a lot more glitter.
Be the first to say something.
